I've been making Delia's Christmas cake for years and love it!
Is it possible to use the same recipe to make smaller cakes (even cake bars) ? What dimensions/cooking times would you recommend for this?

Hello Alison,
It is possible but not something we would do.
You can make muffing sized cakes (bars are probably about the same size) but the result will not be the same as a large one as it’s the long slow cooking that slowly caramelises the sugar and develops the flavour.
I think that a 4 egg mixture will make about 12.
They will probably take about 35 minutes to bake.
