Hello. I live in the US and make your recipes frequently. I am planning to make Toffee-Fudge Bananas with Toasted Nuts.
It calls for molasses sugar. What is a good equivalent for that in US? I did an experiment with molasses and dark brown sugar on top of yogurt and covered for a few hours. Neither taste like toffee fudge. Perhaps the molasses syrup is closer.
Thank you!

Hello,
I’m not sure what you can get in America but I’d use Muscovado when Molasses Sugar isn’t available.
Billington’s Molasses Sugar is available on Amazon US which is the same as we use.
Best wishes

Toffee-fudge Bananas with Toasted Nuts
Thank you, Lindsey. I will try to get it. I called some local grocery stores like Whole Foods and they said they used to carry but stopped. My quest has begun! Enjoy your evening. Best, Claudia (aka New England Delia Fan)
PS I have all her books and many pages are dog eared. I write notes and dates I made things. This year we had a Delia Christmas. My husband made excellent Yorkshire Pudding and everyone LOVED my Little Sticky Toffee Puddings with Pecan Toffee Sauce. Also made the roast beef and potatoes boulangere. This is only one example of my years of fun with Delia!
