I am making Delia’s 18th Century Stuffing but I am not stuffing the turkey; I am baking it in the oven. There are no instructions given for this option. Since the sausage is uncooked, what temperature and length of time in the oven would you recommend?
Thank you!
Susan

Hello Susan,
I would press it into a buttered loaf tin or ovenproof dish and bake at 180C for about an hour until it’s nicely browned on the top and has shrunk around the edges. Then let it stand for 10 minutes (or more). Serve in slices or spoon it out.
