Autumn has arrived and so has our October book review page bursting with the latest releases in both fiction and non-fiction titles for you to cosy up with as the nights draw in.

This months round up includes Stephen Fry's Mythos: The illustrated Story which captures these extraordinary myths for our modern age in striking colour - in all their dazzling and deeply human relevance. Next up is Diddly Squat Pigs Might Fly, the next chapter of life on the farm as told by Jeremy Clarkson who is still knee-deep in mud and endless challenges. If you're looking for a Christmas romance read, One Day December by Rachel Marks will delight with its gently woven love story that is bound to make your heart sing.

Also making it on to our reading list this month is internationally renowned actor Dame Judi Dench's SHAKESPEARE: The Man Who Pays The Rent - a witty, insightful journey through the plays and tales of our beloved Shakespeare; and the must-read autobiography from Jordan Henderson, Liverpool's beloved captain. Next on the list, and not to be missed is Nikki Marmery's Lilith: the heroine women have waited six thousand years for and last, but by no means least, is the brilliant Sunday Times bestseller by Maggie O'Farrell, Hamnet, a novel inspired by the son of a famous playwright: a boy whose life has been all but forgotten, but whose name was given to one of the most celebrated plays ever written.
