Hello,
I’m making a batch of mincemeat tomorrow and am trying to be as economical with my oven use as possible, as are probably a lot of people! I’m sure it would cook very easily in the slow cooker- how many hours would you recommend and on what setting? Thank you

Hello,
We don’t have a slow cooker but we think 4 hours on low will be about right.
Just check that the fat has melted, the fruits are plump, and the apple has softened.
