look very wholesome, not at all oily & didn't crumble when she divided them in tin, mine crumble when even when i use full amount of sugar & taste more of butter than oats, are they meant to be oily & taste of butter rather than of oats?

Hi Lindsey, made Whole Oat Crunchies reducing sugar to 50g,
i found them very sweet, is it possible to make them without sugar or to reduce sugar to 10g or 15g?
on removing biscuits from oven there were little bubbles of butter bubbling at bottom of tin these did subside when biscuits cooled, i didn't oil baking parchment but it was very oily, and biscuits were oily to eat, the predominant taste was butter not oats, is it possible to reduce butter? thanks Frances Therese.
