Hi Lindsay,
I have two Christmas puddings that I made 3 years ago following Delia's recipe. They have been kept cool and foil wrapped.
I am not asking if it is safe to eat them from a health point of view, that would be my responsibility but I want to know, if possible if the flavour will have improved over this period or is more likely to have deminished if I reheat them now?
Lots of us are intrigued as to how long you can keep a Delia Christmas puddding.

Hello,
The flavour is more likely to have diminished than improved.
However, I wouldn’t discard it. I would open it up, check that everything looks and smells ok then slice a small piece of the base and taste it.
If it tastes ok cover it and steam it for Christmas and enjoy it.
Best wishes
Lindsey
