Forgotten the treacle in the Christmas Cake

I put my Xmas cake in the oven and immediately realized I had forgotten the treacle. I took it out and mixed the treacle in the tin and put it back in the oven. Will this have ruined my cake?

It sounds like you caught it in time. If your mixture felt the same when you added the treacle, I’m sure it will be fine.
I’d probably just lived without the treacle!
