Hi Lindsey,
I am sure this has been asked many times before but .... Are the oven temperatures quoted in Delia's receipes for standard ovens or fan ovens?
One more question - when roasting pork including crackling is it best to use standard oven or fan? Same question for roast potatoes, sorry that's three questions!
kind regards
Pauline

Hi Pauline,
All of Delia’s recipes with an eclectic oven temperature have been tested in a conventional oven, using top and bottom heat.
If you have a fan oven, we advise that you should reduce the given temperature by 20 degrees.
We always do our oven cooking (and testing) using conventional heat so we don’t know about the pork, crackling and potatoes but we have had a lot of feedback about how much the fat can splatter when roasting fatty ingredients using a fan setting but perhaps that’s why they have sophisticated self-cleaning settings built in!
Best wishes
Lindsey
