Delia Country: How Delia changed food in Norfolk and Suffolk
This weekend, BBC Radio 4's The Food Programme presenter Sheila Dillon, takes a trip through Norwich, Norfolk and mid-Suffolk.
For 50 years Delia has lived and worked in in East Anglia, always championing the local food traditions and food processors who have shaped her recipes. Invited to watch a Norwich City home game, Sheila met Delia's Canary Catering team who each match day serve 1,250 sit-down meals, as well as joining fans in the bar at half-time. She also spoke to Suffolk fisherman and restaurateur Bill Pinney and Essex turkey farmer Derek Kelly who both reminisce about their early encounters with Delia.
