Bone marrow in Boeuf en Daube
Hii - I am cooking a piece of featherblade with marrowbone but I am unsure as to what to do with the marrowbone. I know how to make a beef en daube but I have never used marrowbone before. Will it dissolve or will there be bits of it in my jus? Thanks.

Feeding the Christmas cake!
Hi Lindsey
I have made Delia's Christmas cake and she advises when it is cold, feed with brandy. A friend of mine feeds the cake with brandy while it is still hot, out of the oven. Does it make any difference?
The cake turned out lovely.

Cooking the christmas pudding
Not so many guests for Christmas lunch this year, so intend to do half size Christmas pudding, which I’ve done before and turned out perfect. However, given the fuel cost of 8 hour steaming, I’d like to cook it in the microwave instead. Can you suggest timing and microwave level for this, please?
