Delia's cake tin liners

Has anyone used the Delia bake-o-glide cake tin liners? Are they available for both the deep sided cake tins and the shallower sandwich tins? I'm tired of the chore of greasing and lining tins and tempted to invest in several sets of these liners. I assume cakes turn out perfectly without sticking.

Liners

I have a set of Lakeland circles which I use frequently. I also use Cake Release which you can just brush round the tin.

Country Baker - they are really fab, I have used them for cakes and biscuits as well as cooking our many, many sausage rolls this Christmas!

Cake tin liners

Thank you both for your replies. Do you know if the side liners are done for both the deep sided cake tin and shallower sandwich tin? Also is it necessary to grease/oil before lining? Thanks

Lining tins

Does it make sense to grease before lining? I know it is always written but it doesn't make sense.

OK, line and grease; but you don't need to grease if you line with BakeOGlide or it's equivalent.

lining tins

Hello,

I believe that only Delia's deep liners come with side walls. My understanding of greasing and lining is that the grease helps the parchment paper to adhere and lie flat in the tin.

I use bake-o-glide for the base of sponges and grease the sides. I use baking parchment for my christmas cake as it helps for storing before icing.

They are available for the deep tins 8cm depth. Side and base liners are in the same pack.

I think this answers your question!?
