Menu of the Month
For our menu this month, Lindsey has chosen three great recipes all with seasonal ingredients.
To begin with, Wild Mushroom and Walnut Soup from the book The Delia Collection: Soup, any leftover will make a lovely lunch or supper with some cheese to follow. Main course is braised lamb. After 30 minutes at a hight heat, the oven temperature is lowered and the lamb slowly braises in Beaujolais wine and root vegetables, under a tent of foil to keep it moist. To finish we have not just any old apple pie, this one is packed with apples and has a Cheddar crust.
