Mulled Maple Cider


This gently spiced cider is ideal for chilly autumn and winter evenings, whether it's Bonfire Night, Halloween or a Christmas get-together.

Versatile, delicious and naturally produced, pure Canadian maple syrup is free from artificial additives and flavourings and a natural source of energy. 1. Combine apple cider, pure maple syrup, cinnamon sticks and cloves in a medium pot.
2. Gently simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes. Serve warm in mugs.
3. Add spiced rum, brandy or whisky for a grown-up version. Garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick.


1 litre fresh apple cider
2 tsp pure maple syrup
3 cinnamon sticks
5 cloves
1 tbsp spiced rum, brandy or whisky (optional)
Apple slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish
