Hi Lindsey, I'm just about to make Delia's Christmas Pudding Ice Cream and I was wondering if I could line the plastic pudding basin with cling film first, with plenty hanging over the side to get a hold off....which would make removing the ice-cream easier and so wouldn't need to dip the whole thing in hot water. Thanks for your thoughts! Merryn

I would love to make the preserved ginger cake with lemon icing in delia’s how to cook book two but can’t seem to find the right size tin (6 x 10 x 1 inches) anywhere online.
I don’t live in the UK so need an online stockist. Can you advise where I might be able to buy that size, or how the recipe can be adjusted to fit another size oblong tin?
Any suggestions would be great! Thank-you.
I have made Delia’s Christmas pudding and now need to undertake the 8 hours steaming. Does it need to be stood in the boiling water or can I use a steaming pan and have it stood above the water
If I make Delia’s speedy Christmas cake now and marzipan it and ice it will it be ok for Christmas? I know a traditional cake would but this recipe contains mincemeat?
Hello, I am making the Yorkshire pudding for 6 and am trying to work out how to measure the milk/water mix.
I cannot find a jug that has a small enough guage for 175 ml and 110 ml, do I measure the two amounts separately or put in milk and top it up to 285ml?
Where can I buy something that would show these measurements or could I weigh them on my kitchen scales that do a ml weight?
