If I make Delia’s speedy Christmas cake now and marzipan it and ice it will it be ok for Christmas? I know a traditional cake would but this recipe contains mincemeat?
Hello, I am making the Yorkshire pudding for 6 and am trying to work out how to measure the milk/water mix.
I cannot find a jug that has a small enough guage for 175 ml and 110 ml, do I measure the two amounts separately or put in milk and top it up to 285ml?
Where can I buy something that would show these measurements or could I weigh them on my kitchen scales that do a ml weight?
I have a recipe for "Mascarpone Creams with etc." from Delia's Winter Collection.
Can I freeze these creams several days in advance, then defrost and add the caramel sauce etc?
I've made a 6inch Christmas cake would like to know when I have marzipan and iced it with fondant icing how much bigger will the cake be as I have seen a 6.5 cake topper
Strawberries and Cream Sponge Cake - I am making this at the weekend and I notice the recipe calls for 1 x 8" sponge cake tin. As the recipe is 115g could I use 2 x 7" or even 6" tins for this recipe instead of one and cutting it in two?
Thank you Lindsey for ALL your help. Eileen
