About to make Delia's Classic Christmas cake. Recipe says when it's cold feed with a couple of tablespoons of brandy before wrapping up. Just wanted to check it is tablespoons of brandy to feed or should it bet teaspoons?
Hi Lindsey, I wanted to let you know that I made Delia's Coconut Layer Cake for my husbands 80 birthday party yesterday. This was in Spain and it was a big success with both Brits and Spanish guests. Hi Lindsay, I have been using Delia’s recipes for baking bread but an ongoing problem I have Is determining when the bread is baked. Delia says overbake rather than under bake but I don’t like very crusty dry bread. Do you encourage the use of a baking thermometer to test the internal temperature of a loaf of bread? And what should the temperature be in Fahrenheit as I am British but baking in the US? Thanks.
