Which flour in rich fruit cake?

your Christmas cake uses self raising flour, but in your ingredients for scaling up a rich fruit cake for a wedding you said Plain flour. Why is this? Is it really plain flour?

Thank you - you are right! I think I got rather confused while looking at recipes and trying to find one that was for a 12 inch.
I'd also like to let you know that I had a Delia Smiths Complete Cookery Course recipe book as a wedding present in 37 years ago, and it is still being used. It has broken in half and the covers are off but I still turn to it for certain recipes or information!
