A British recipe I have asks for "apple pie spice". We have no such thing in Canada. Would it be similar or the same as "pumpkin pie spice" here?

Hello,
I think it’s American in the first instance. It’s available in the UK but it’s not that common. There are recipes available online but we would use cinnamon, cloves and sometimes nutmeg in apple pie.
Best wishes

That's interesting. In Canada, and I'm sure in the USA, generally only cinnamon is used in apple pie. That's why I found the ingredient curious.
Thank you.
