look very wholesome, not at all oily & didn't crumble when she divided them in tin, mine crumble when even when i use full amount of sugar & taste more of butter than oats, are they meant to be oily & taste of butter rather than of oats?

These biscuits are very buttery and crumbly but it is the butter and sugar that hold them together. You might prefer an oat biscuit recipe that contains flour.
