Using ground cardamon in the Cake of the Week

I would like to use ground cardamom for the cardamom and pistachio cake and wondered what the equivalent quantity would be for this recipe?

Hello,
It will depend on the freshness and pungency of your ground cardamon but I would suggest ½ teaspoon in the cake and ½ teaspoon in the syrup.
