Hi, I am going to make Delia’s Coffee & Cardomom cake, would ground cardomom be suitable rather than grinding the seeds, and if so how much should I use?

Hello Anne,
We haven’t tried that but I think it will be fine. As long as your ground cardamom is fresh and pungent, I would use ½ teaspoon of ground in the cake mix and the same in the coffee syrup.
