Do you have any receipes (other than bread) which I can use with fresh yeast. I have been given a great block of this and would love to try something different

Hello,
You can use fresh yeas in any recipe that calls for dried or easy yeast.
To use the fresh yeast simply mix the required amount into the warm liquid and mix into the dough straight away.
Fresh yeast can be stored in a deep freezer, wrapped 1 oz (25 g) portions.
It will keep in a freezer for three months, or in a refrigerator for three days.
To replace 7g of easy yeast I would use 25g of fresh, crumbled and dissolved in the warm liquid.
