Another question on vanilla cream terrine. I can get the gelatine in 8 g sachets which is only 3 g short of the recipe. My problem is with the quantity as Delia's recipe states 850 mls of liquid in total and though my packet doesn't give how much it sets it does give a recipe for panna cotta using one sachet for 500 mls liquid. Could you give me a clue as to whether to use one sachet to 850 mls (and what would the consistency be like?) or buy more gelatine and make it as per recipe.
Happy Monday to the team

Hello Wendy,
This recipe made as a terrine is the perfect set as is.
Using 8g of powdered gelatine will set it but it may be too lightly set to turn out in one piece and then slice.
Perhaps you could do it in little pots or ramerkins instead.
Very best wishes
