Tray bake cakes

Hi Lindsey
I am often asked to make a tray bake and use the silverwood oblong tin. Can any of Delias cake recipes in her book be converted for baking in the oblong tin. I already make the Family cake, and the ginger and chocolate but would welcome a change.

Most cakes will work as a tray bake.
It’s just a case of making sure the capacity and baking times are adjusted.
