The weight of apple in Cookery Course Crumble
My wife and I are trying to settle a discussion about the weight of the apples in the recipe, eg. Delia Smith's Complete Cookery Course, Spiced Apple and Raisin Crumble.
The question is, is the weight of the apples specified after preparation, ie. peeling, coring, and slicing, or is it the weight of the apples prior to the preparation process?
