The sauce for cheats braised beef in madeira!

I love Delias (cheat) recipe for braised beef in madeira which used a fresh wild mushroom sauce which Waitrose no longer stock - neither do Tescos. This is my staple dinner party meal and I am desperate to find a good alternative sauce - HELP!!!!
