I was looking at this recipe from Delia: PARMESAN TWISTS WITH ANCHOVY OR SESAME AND POPPY SEEDS, but there was nothing in the recipe about how much anchovy (or the sesame, poppy seeds either for that matter) to add or how to add it. I like anchovies and I'd like to try this with anchovies. I am guessing they could be chopped finely and mixed in with the cheese to be spread inside a layer of the puff pastry?? Would that require two layer to be rolled out even thinner??
Perhaps an egg is used to wash the top of the puff pastry so the seeds will stick?? Then they are cut and twisted??
