The height of the rich fruit for a wedding cake

It depends on your other tiers and how you decorate them and the rich fruitcake tier.

Tiered wedding cakes come in all sorts of proportions nowadays. Visually tiers look good if they are of equal height or if the height reduces gradually from bottom to top. A 3 inch tall, 8 inch round cake will look deeper that a 3 inch tall 10 inch round cake.

You will need to allow for the depth of the decoration on the cake as well.
