The butter in Delia's scones

Hi Lindsey, the two scone recipes specify spreadable butter. Can I use regular butter that's warm enough to have become soft (i.e. at warm room temperature)? Or is the presence of some oil in the mix important? Thanks, Jason

Yes, you can just use soft butter if you like.
