How do I stop my cheesecake from splitting when it cools down in the oven (the last one I made was the baked vanilla cheesecake)?

Hello,
Cook it less (it should have a slight wobble on the middle). Ovens vary so have a peek 15 minutes before the end time, and then leave it in the oven to cool.
It may also be that your oven is too hot – an oven thermometer is a good gadget to have to check this.
