Roasting nuts for brownies

Hi Lindsey. I plan on making Delia's Brazilian nut brownies. The recipe calls for roasted nuts but does not say how to do it. I can't source Brazil nuts roasted, so can I make them without roasting or is it a simple procedure to do myself? Thanks. Eileen

Hello Eileen,
You can use most unsalted nuts, or combination of nuts.
To roast nuts, pre-heat the oven to 170°C, gas mark 3, spread them out on a tray and pop them into the oven near the centre for 8 minutes – use a timer to help you remember.
Then for this recipe roughly chop the nuts.
