Q&A's? We are here to help. We being Delia and Lindsey. We work closely together and can answer any queries you have relating to Delia's recipes and our online Cookery School. Why not ask a question right now? What we can't do though, is answer questions about other recipes. (For general website queries or technical questions please click here)
My chickens are laying well so I have plenty of eggs. I thought I would make Delia’s Leek, potato & cheese soufflé for supper. Unfortunately, no sour cream in the fridge though. Do you think I could use half fat creme fraiche instead?
Best wishes and thank you, Jayne
Please would you be able to advise ingredient proportions and cooking time for 12" round light fruit wedding cake. It is to be the base of an otherwise sponge wedding cake.
I bake Delia's Irish Tea Bread. I bake the recipe in two 1 lb loaf tines and find the mixture is nearly too much for each tin. Should these be baked in two 2lb loaf tins? My 1lb loaf tins are from Lakeland 450 gm.
Lindsey I plan to make Delia's Chicken & Leek Pot Pie, but I never use alcohol in recipes. Can I substitute the 275 ml dry cider with chicken stock made with a stock pot which is slightly more concentrated than a stock cube OR would I completely compromise the flavour?
