

Brown Rice.
When I follow the same Delia method for cooking white rice, my brown rice always seems to stick to the bottom of the pan. I find myself lifting the lid and running a fork through it and intervals to try and dislodge from the bottom during cooking. Is there a reason it does this?
I use Tilda brown basmati rice.

Hello,
Brown rice may stick a little more than white, but I find that as long as I keep the lid on, don’t stir it, remove the lid and cover with a clean tea towel when the cooking time and leave it to stand for a few minutes.. the rice can be tipped out of the pan or lifted from the pan fairly cleanly.
