Steaming time to reheat the Christmas Pudding
I used Delia’s classic Christmas pudding recipe to make 2 x 2 pt Christmas puddings in November 2018, in the same way as I’ve been doing for the past 20 or so years. However, this time, we only ate one of them and I’m planning to steam the other one for a family party in a couple of weeks’ time. It had the original 8-hour steam when I made it, but I stored it (as instructed) before doing the 2-hour steam. Is it going to be safe to eat if I steam it for 2 hours on the day of the party, or should I steam it for a longer time, please?
