Hello
I have just taken up baking and the marmalade recipe says use a 2lb cake tin but the tin you recommend is a 1lb tin from silver wood I am a bit confused.
Charles
Love the double lemon and poppyseed cake. Best lemon cake ever eaten. But it would be too small for me to take into work. Would it work if you doubled the quantities? IWhat size tin and how long to bake. Many thanks!
Hi Lindsey, thank you for your quick response re navel orange marmalade and to the question of timing for the addition of ginger to lemon marmalade. Can I use all lemons in the Lemon and Lime marmalade? Also, is it OK I half the amount of ingredients & the water as I have made a batch of lemon marmalade already? (not a Delia recipe and Not a great success I might add)
I want to add ginger to this batch using Delia's recipe.
Many thanks in advance,
Margaret
Hi Lindsey
I use Gluten Free Flour for all cake recipes and would like to know if I'd need to change the quantities in Delia's recipes. That goes for baking powder and baking soda as well.
Thanks
Jacky
I recently (January 2019) made Delia's recipe for Seville orange marmalade (I have made this before) but this time the set has turned out very thick and difficult to get out of the jar.
Is there a way of correcting this please or is it too late.
