OK I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but we have an electric hob & we need to replace it. It has to be electric. My question is are Induction hobs the way to go?

Hello,
We have electric hobs too because we both live in areas without a gas supply.
We have seen brilliant demonstrations of induction hobs being used. Many people that I have spoken to love their induction hobs. On the down side you have to use induction pans. So when I had my new kitchen fitted recently I had to have a normal electric hop or I wouldn’t be able to test or follow the recipes using the little gem pans.
Ideally I would have both – If there were a suitable hob that had 3 or 4 induction rings and 1 or 2 normal electric rings it would suit my requirements perfectly. Maybe next time!
Best wishes
Lindsey
