

Hi,
Looking to make a last minute Christmas Cake. My question is can I use gluten free flour instead of the wholewheat or normal flour please? Will it last from now until Christmas?
I am not worried about texture and appreciate that gf flour may result in a different texture. My sister is a coeliac; so the most important thing is that she can eat it.

Hello Lee,
We tested this cake with gluten fee flour and we were vey happy with the result.
It will keep like a classic Christmas cake.
Feeding it with a little brandy every couple of weeks will help and keep it wrapped in an airtight tin in a cool dark place.
