

Hope it’s ok to ask a Christmas question in October! Would it be ok to stuff my turkey in the evening on Christmas Eve? I make Delia’s recipe pork, sage and onion stuffing and stuff the turkey the way Delia describes in her Christmas book. I’d rather do it Christmas Eve if it’s possible but wonder how long I’d give a 6.5kg turkey plus it’s nearly 1kg stuffing to come up to room temperature before cooking? Thanks a million, Sara

Hello Sara,
As you know, Delia takes the turkey and stuffing out of the fridge last thing on Christmas Eve so if you want do the same and go one step further and stuff the bird you can.
Leave it covered in a cool place until it goes in the oven.
