Hi!
I want to make the terrine of summer fruits, but can only buy the gelatine in sheets (9 to a 17gm packet) not in packets. Please can you tell me how many sheets I should use in this recipe.
Thank you
Carol

Hello Carol,
There can be some variation between brands. Check on the packet instructions and if it says you need 4 leaves to set a pint of liquid then you will need 8 leaves to set this recipe.

Thank you for your advice. Unfortunately I live in France and the packet gives no indication! I have since contacted the company and their advice is 12 - 16 gm per kg, which isn't a great deal of help.
Think perhaps I'll just choose another recipe!

Hello Carol,
It is quite helpful.
Based on that info I’d use 14g
1k equates to 1L
16g sets 1L so I think 14 will set 2 pints.
Kind regards
Lindsey
You're a star. Thank you.
