I made the Sticky Prune and Date Cake. I don't usually purchase condensed milk. I bought SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK. The cake - although tasty became very dark - burned almost on sides and bottom.
Also recipe called for baking time one hour and 50 minutes - it was well done after one hour.....
So - condensed milk - should be sweetened or not? what about that baking time. perhaps convection? I baked it at 325 deg F.
It is still delicious and I will try it again if I feel I can have a better result.
