Making smaller Spiced Date and Walnut Loaf Cakes

Hello,
I love Delia’s 2lb Spiced Date and Walnut Loaf. I’d like to make several 1lb cakes for a local Charity Open Garden. If I divide the 2 lb mixture in to two 1lb tins will that be correct?
Also what oven temperature should I use and how long should I bake the cakes?
I’d really, really appreciate your thoughts.

Hello Jen,
Yes, that’s correct, you can divide the mixture into 2 x 1lb tins.
The oven temperature stays the same but the u=timing will reduce.
I expect they will need about ab hour in the oven.
