

Hi - I want to make a couple of smaller creole christmas cakes this year and wondered if I halve the ingredients in the recipe what size tin should I then cook the cakes in and would the oven temp / cooking time need to be changed also ?

Hello,
We make the same recipe into 2 x 6-inch round tins. The come out about 6 cm deep when baked and look great.
They are baked in the centre of the oven at 140C (Conventional heat) for 2 hours then covered with parchment and baked for 50 minutes to 1 hour more.
