

Hi Lindsey,
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has tried to make croquette potatoes.
I believe the normal method to cook croquette potatoes is it to fry them in oil, but can they be baked in the oven instead?
Also, if freezing them, is it better to freeze them uncooked or already cooked?

Delia doesn’t have a recipe for potato croquettes but yes you can bake them in the oven, drizzled with a little oil, at 180C for about 25 minutes.
Or you can make duchess potatoes, which are much easier as they are just piped and baked.
Either can be frozen at home but they won’t be quite as nice as they are made fresh
