Making individual Christmas Puddings

Sorry Lindsey, it's about Christmas puddings again!! I always make Delia's Classic which is a smaller mix (serves 6) to the Traditional one (serves 8 - 10) but this year I want to go smaller still and make 6 individual puddings in the Silverwood 6oz metal pudding basins. In this case, would I need to use the larger mix and how long should I steam them for?

Hello Eileen,
In the Traditional Christmas Pudding Delia says….
“If you want to make individual Christmas puddings for gifts, this quantity makes eight 175ml pudding basins. Steam for 3 hours, then resteam for 1 hour before serving.”
So, in theory ¾ of this recipe will make six 175ml pudding basins.
