

Hello Lindsey I was looking for an idea for a small gooey cake I could make for my husband's 80th birthday - because of Covid restrictions there will just be the two of us and someone suggested Delia's Squidgy Chocolate log but made into a small (say 6") cake. I don't know how this recipe has escaped me all these years!! How long would I need to cook the mix in a 6" tin and would leftover mix cook as mini cupcakes and freeze.
Alternatively what size round tin would be suitable for the recipe?

Hi Eileen,
I would do a 3 egg mix in a 6 inch sandwich tin.
If you want to make the 6 egg mixture you could bake the remainder in ramekins as we have here..
