Making a smaller batch of mincemeat

I AM GOING TO MAKE DELIA'S XMAS MINCEMEAT RECIPE AND THOUGHT I WOULD MAKE A SMALLER AMOUNT THIS YEAR.. HALVE THE INGREDIENTS BUT DO I STILL NEED TO PUT IT IN THE OVEN FOR 3 HOURS?
