I wish to make my Christmas cake, but have time problems. Is it possible to mix everything together, the put it it in the oven tomorrow for the 4.5 hours?
Thank you

Hello,
Generally, a cake should always be baked as soon as it is mixed but if it is a Christmas cake made with plain flour and without a raising agent you may get away with it.
I’d make sure the outside is protected with several layers of brown paper and the top is covered with parchment (not touching the surface).

I’d check it at 4 hours.
