Low Carb Cake!

I’m looking for a cake recipe using almond flour instead of wheat.

My husband is diabetic and on a low carb diet, and so little sugar would be helpful too.
The only one in my Delia’s Cakes book is the chocolate and rum squares but their a bit too much as contain chocolate and sugar.

I’m thinking of trying just to replace the SR flour with Almond flour and adding baking powder in normal sponge recipes ???

Anything you can suggest would be wonderful. He does miss an occasional cake
