Looking for a tray-bake shortbread

I often make delia's shortbread but I would like to adapt it to a deep ginger shortbread tray bake topped with ginger fudge . I tried scaling up the recipie to fit a tray bake tin but it didn't work . Does Delia have such a recipie I have looked but can't find one
